Great article. PM’s need to request a minimum of $100,000 liability coverage. You are right in the premium range. We write several renters policies per month with premiums less than $275 annually. It is cheap peace of mind.

Check with your local or state municipality to determine if you need a broker’s license to be a property manager. Or call a local property management company and ask them. I would imagine that you will need a license if you plan on selling real estate or “brokering” deals.
